Jamie Rahe

Art Communication & Technology Instructor, Ceramics
“I love helping students find their passions and connect to life through the arts. The art my students create empowers them, and helps them find self worth and satisfaction. Students are thrilled to witness the different stages, from a wet malleable piece of clay to a finished ceramic piece.”

Jamie Rahe’ ceramic art has been exhibited in the U.S., Japan, and Brazil. After earning her first art degree at Miami University, she created art and taught classes at the Worcester Center for Crafts, and that inspired Jamie to return to Cincinnati for graduate school.

She was first in the art education department at U.C. to complete her final semester in Brazil, at the Universidade Federal de Goias. There she further cultivated her knowledge of art and culture, and created a body of work for display at Museu de Arte de Goiania Brasil.
