A Health & Safety Update

Published: March 18, 2020

Things are changing quickly in today’s world.

I would like to share important updates about our efforts to keep CATS students engaged and their credit acquisition uninterrupted—the safety of our students, professional art instructors, staff and community partners is our top priority. During this trying time, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been affected by the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

As we navigate through these uncertain times, there are a few other things we would like you to know:

  • With the recent mandate issued by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine to close all schools until April 6, 2020, CATS is operating virtually. Staff and Instructors are continuing our mission by staying highly engaged with our students while they continue to gain credit towards graduation.
  • Students will be able to access online assignments during the time that schools are closed. Information has been sent to all students and staff are on standby to address any questions.
  • As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, CATS staff will be available remotely to ensure that our students are supported throughout this crisis. We will work closely with community and school partners to share updated information and resources as they become available.

While our doors may be closed, we will not let that keep us from our mission to unlock, equip and nurture the students we serve. We are committed to ensuring that our work continues and that our students have the resources necessary. Please visit our website and follow us on social media for updates and additional digital offerings.

Thank you for being a part of the CATS community and please be vigilant to remain healthy.
